During the Event
- Let the other members know where you are operating on the Facebook group chat created for the event.
- Instruct your contacts to search the Internet for “White House Amateur Radio Club” for information about receiving a certificate.
- Let your contacts know that they are NOT TO USE ANY INFOMATION ABOUT W0H LISTED ON WWW.QRZ.COM. WE ARE UNABLE TO ACCESS THE ACCOUNT TO UPDATE OUR INFORMATION. THE INFORMATION IS INCORRECT.
- You may optionally explain that any left over donated money will be used to keep our website operational.
- We are asking for a $5.00 donation to print and mail each certificate.
After the Event
- Export your logs to an ADIF file and email to yateslowell@whitehousecomms-arc.org
- Lowell, KD8HD, will organize the necessary fields each members submitted logs.
- Lowell, KD8HD, will print the certificates with the contacts name and call as found in qrz.com
- Lowell, KD8HD, will mail the printed certificates with enough money to handle each member to locally buy envelopes and stamps. I’ll let you know how much postage to add to each envelope
- Sign your certificates, stuff the envelopes and add postage.
- Optionally add your personal QSL card with a note that you are the station control operator for the contact.
