WHCAARC Terms of Use — Membership and Eligibility Section
Membership and Eligibility
1. Account Creation and Attestation
By creating an account on the WHCAARC website, users affirm that all information submitted is accurate, complete, and provided in good faith. Providing false, misleading, or incomplete information may result in denial of membership, suspension of access, or revocation of membership privileges.
2. Membership Levels
A. WHCA ARC Site Member (Default Role)
All new accounts are created as WHCA ARC Site Members, regardless of the membership type selected during registration.
Site Members may access:
- Public member areas
- Public forums
- General community features
This role is available to any approved registrant.
B. Full WHCAARC Membership
Full WHCAARC Membership is reserved exclusively for verified current or former personnel of the White House Communications Agency, including:
- Uniformed service members
- Civilian employees
Selecting “Full WHCAARC Membership” during registration does not grant immediate access. Applicants requesting Full Membership are created as Site Members and may be upgraded only after administrative verification.
Full Members may access:
- All Site Member areas
- WHCAARC‑only forums
- Private WHCA‑related discussions
- Additional privileges as established by WHCAARC
3. Verification Requirements
Users requesting Full WHCAARC Membership may be asked to provide additional information to confirm eligibility. Verification may include:
- Reviewing service details voluntarily provided by the applicant
- Cross‑checking known WHCA records
- Consulting with WHCA alumni
- Reviewing callsigns, duty sections, or years of service (if provided)
WHCAARC administrators determine eligibility at their discretion. Full Membership is granted only after successful verification.
4. Misrepresentation Prohibited
Users may not misrepresent identity, military service, affiliation with WHCA, or eligibility for Full WHCAARC Membership.
Misrepresentation for the purpose of obtaining access, privileges, or membership benefits is strictly prohibited and may result in:
- Immediate account removal
- Denial of Full Membership
- Revocation of existing membership
Such conduct may also violate applicable federal or state laws.
5. Membership Revocation
WHCAARC may deny, suspend, or revoke membership at any time if:
- Information provided during registration or verification is false, misleading, or incomplete
- The member engages in conduct that compromises the integrity, security, or mission of WHCAARC
- The member violates community rules, Terms of Use, or forum policies
Membership in WHCAARC is a privilege, not a right.
6. Forum Access
Access to WHCAARC forums is role‑based:
- WHCA ARC Site Members may access public forums
- Full WHCAARC Members may access both public and WHCAARC‑only forums
Users may not self‑assign Full Membership or bypass verification procedures.
7. Changes to Membership Policy
WHCAARC may update or modify membership requirements, verification procedures, or access privileges at any time to support community integrity, security, and operational needs.
