Non-Governmental Status

The White House Communications Agency Amateur Radio Club (WHCA-ARC) is a private, civilian-led non-profit association.

Please be advised that the WHCA-ARC is not officially affiliated with, endorsed by, or approved by the White House, the White House Communications Agency (WHCA), the Department of War, or any other agency of the United States federal government.

While our club is composed of individuals who have served as active-duty personnel, retirees, or alumni of the White House Communications Agency, the club operates independently of these organizations. Our mission is to promote amateur radio knowledge, preserve the camaraderie of our members, and provide service to the amateur radio community. Any references to historical agency ties are intended solely to reflect the shared background and professional heritage of our membership.

Membership and Representation

Access to this website and registration as a site member does not constitute membership in the White House Communications Agency (WHCA), the Department of Defense (DoD), or any other federal government entity.

Site members are strictly private individuals and are not representatives, employees, or agents of the U.S. government. No site member is authorized to represent, imply, or suggest any official affiliation with the White House, the White House Communications Agency, or any federal agency. Misrepresentation of such affiliation is strictly prohibited and may violate federal law, including 18 U.S. Code § 912, which addresses the impersonation of federal officers or employees.
