Welcome to the official home of the White House Communications Agency Amateur Radio Club (WHCAARC). We are a community of dedicated radio enthusiasts committed to technical excellence, emergency preparedness, and the advancement of amateur radio operations.

Our club serves as a hub for personnel and enthusiasts to hone their skills in high-frequency (HF) communications, antenna theory, and emerging digital technologies. We pride ourselves on blending classic radio expertise with modern network configurations to support field operations and organizational outreach.
What We Do
The WHCAARC is more than just a club—it is a hands-on laboratory for innovation in the field. Our primary focus is our commitment to field operations:
- Special Event Stations: Throughout the year, we host special event stations using 1×1 call signs to commemorate holidays that honor our country and military. We proudly issue commemorative certificates to all amateur radio operators who make contact with these stations.
- Field Operations: We regularly conduct national field operations and logging events, such as Field Day, testing our capabilities in diverse environments to ensure readiness and reliability.
Our Community
Our members share a passion for exploration—both in the radio spectrum and in our physical operations. You will often find our club members building/ modifying amateur radio equipment, experimenting with new antenna designs, participating in regional conventions, and collaborating on projects that bridge the gap between legacy radio systems and modern enterprise networking.
Whether you are a seasoned operator or someone interested in the technical aspects of global communication, the WHCA-ARC offers a unique environment to learn, build, and connect.
